The name of Ace's new album is called Anomaly.
Cool artwork as well, which Ace designed.
Finally, this album is going to see the light of day !!
Can't wait until he tours again, saw him last year and he sounded better than he has in years.

I have a promotional copy. I really like most of the album although there are a couple of songs that are awful. I don't know why Ace thought it was a good idea to do ballads or sing about angels or have his 29-year-old daughter try to speak in a little girl's voice.
I think most of the music is good, but his lyrics tend to be weak. Oh, well. I still recommend the album to Ace fans. I'm curious to know what you guys think.

The only albums that sound close to Revenge are Creatures Of The Night and Carnival Of Souls. If Sonic Boom sounds close to any other albums then they are Rock And Roll Over and Love Gun. Any album that sounds remotely like those two is a quality album. -

I apologize for being so late to the discussion here, but I finally bought "Anomaly" a few weeks ago, and it's much better than I expected. The songwriting and vocals are pretty good, and the guitar licks are positively scorching!
Obviously Ace has seen better days we all have but "Anomaly" is far from the letdown 5b4that others have called it in this thread. The instrumentals totally kick, as is usually the case with Ace, and I love his cover of Sweet's "Fox on the Run." I can't help but wish he'd have more of a band than just doing all the heavy lifting himself, but as a solo project, this is as much as we can expect from him at this point.
"Anomaly" is a very good album that makes me wish I didn't wait so long to buy it. -

Anomaly is a very good album. It's not as good as his stuff from the 80s but NOBODY is as good as they used to be back then! NO BAND today can put out stuff as good as they did back then!
I don't know if it was something in the water or what but music today SUCKS compared to what it was in the 80s to early 90s.
That's why Anomaly is such a surprise since it has some very good tracks on it. Anyone who expected it to be as good as his "Into the Night" days has forgetten that ALL bands suck compared to back then and NO ONE can come out with stuff as good as back then.
My faves on Anomaly are Fox on the Run, Sister, Foxy and Free, Outer Space, and It's a Great Life,.
