The quintessential Hispanic bad guy of the 80s gets no love. Wazzup?!

No doubt. Just watched "Salvador" in which he plays a brutal Salvadoran army officer and was really impressed by the aura of smirking malice the guy exuded. Scary, and dare I say a little sexy.

he played pretty much the same character in BULLETPROOF, which I enjoyed despite the fact that it was a horrible movie.
Is it in their contracts that L.Q. Jones and R.G. Armstrong have to be in every movie together?
I saw Juan recently in IN HELL and he's still got the imposing screen presence. An excellent underused character actor.

Actually, I did an internet search and found his website. He's going to be in the new "every action hero you've ever seen in any film plus more" Stallone film, The Expendables, with Mickey Rourke, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Sandra Bullock, Ben Kingsley, Forest Whitaker, etc. Sounds cool. Did anybody see him in Andy Garcia's "The Lost City"? He made the pre-Castro Cuban dictator Batista both sinister and self-importantly HILARIOUS. Worth the rental just to see him!
