Actually there are several hundred nominees in the Hollyweed trash bin these days. He's just another in a long list of hacks though unlike some of his contemporaries like Singer and Nolan, he has NEVER made even a mediocre film.

If it wasn't for favreau we wouldn't have the MCU phase 1. He basically set up the entire franchise, it ain't easy.
