Even worse when they do whatever it is with someone else, like doing it alone is somewhat excusable.

Do you mean you make plans and they donβt wait to do it with you or you didnβt think they already did that?
If itβs the latter then I donβt get how thatβs betrayal since everyone can do whatever they want to do.
Seems to me itβs asking too much if you expect all of your friends to wait and share in new experiences together.
