Apart from the Northmen who all have a Yorkshire or Lancashire accent, the accents in game of thrones are all Middle English. I think he does a good job. It's not perfect but awful? I'm English and it doesn't stand out.

I second what shootmovie said, I think he does very well with his accent, a terrific accent, and as a Yorkshire man myself, I completely appreciate hearing the Northeners speak haha.

Last time I checked, Game of Thrones isn't set in England, so what does it matter if it isn't 100% authentic? I hear lots of variances from several actors, so I don't think there's a universal accent in Westeros.

Exactly. The accents vary across the board, and they lend themselves to the feel and mood of the show, so their authenticity is not a requirement.
