Ever notice how we never see a shot of him wearing a T-shirt from a back view. He always wears collars or hoodies with the hood down and near his neck.
I saw a glimpse on Durham county of his tattoo on his neck. Its one of those bar code tattoos.

No, sorry. I didn't see it, but I'll look closer on the second season of Flashpoint.
I don't tend to notice tattoos unless they are obvious. I watched Buffy, Angel and Bones religiously and only recently spotted David Borenaz's tats above the inside of both wrists.

It's not a barcode, it's Japanese w5b4riting. He's had it for about 20 years.
