i haven't actually watched any of his Rapid Heart movies, but right now I'd probably say TALISMAN is the worst that I've seen.

Hmmm The new one, "1313: Nightmare Mansion" is pretty god-awful. But I'd say his WORST (I've seen) is the utterly disappointing "Beastly Boyz" That was supposed to have been the debut of his more extreme version of his Rapid Heart Productionsand he totally missed the boat. It was an utter fail.

Just pick any of the "1313" movies - they're all filmed in the same Malibu house and consist of shirtless guys walking around saying "Hello?" until they're knifed (off-screen). Even with running times of 70 minutes these movies are chores to sit through and it's a shame because he used to make fun movies. He's obviously run out of ideas and talent and is churning them out for a quick profit.

wait. are any of his movies "so bad - that's it's good"?
Like "Leprechaun" (with Jennifer Aniston!), we were watching at a party and were busting our guts laughing.
              Or are they just BAD?

His earlier films may fall into that categorybut it seems like the more recent ones are just complete crap. All shot in the same house, with virtually no plotjust an excuse to get guys in underwear. SNORE Most directors grow with experience, but DeCoteau I am sad to see, seems to REGRESS. I can't understand it. I REALLY thought he was going to go places with his new formula after Voodoo Academy and the early BROTHERHOOD flicksthen he just got lazy and started sucking big time

A Christmas Spirit would fall in this category. Especially if you stumble across it under it's other title "A Christmas Puppy." The film has very little to do with a dog at all. Once again filmed in the same Malibu house.
