I came here to find out the same thing. Saw him on a preview for Last Ship. He's still good looking, but not panty-dropping hot like he used to be. I don't think its age either but I almost didn't recognize him. Curious as to what happened to all that hotness.

I think he's still handsome. His hair greyed early, and he's put on some muscle mass for his role as Tom Chandler.
Personally, I think he looks better w/out facial hair. His IMDb profile photo is not his best look.

He had a prescription pill addiction when he was on Grey's and exited that show because of it, and he aged really horridly on the show. That's probably it.

He most likely parties, probably has to have a lot of patience with a wife that killed a kid and too that off with severe red skin. He looks like a tomato in some shots. Some yellow makeup could fix that
