I wonder that about a lot of transgender stars. I'm sure they like to play transgender characters (when done respectfully, obviously) because it helps foster visibility, respect, & understanding to the community, but depending on how they look & present themselves, you'd think they would be playing female (or male characters depending on the person, of course) more often. I wonder how many of them regularly audition for non-transgender roles.

No matter how much he changes his body, he will never truly be a woman. It doesn't mean he can't play a woman. Gay guys play strait men and vice versa. Some men who aren't concidered transgender play women characters. John Trovolta, Martin Lawerence, Adam Sandler.so in acting, anything is possible, but in real life, he will never truly be a woman.
