I remember seeing him on The Tonight Show around 2001 when I was 15. Thought he was hysterical, immediately bought his Live in Houston CD.(I never do that, but his comedy just stuck with me) Got my brother and dad into him and for years we were the only ones in the area who even knew who Louie was. The next time I heard anything from him after would have to be when Lucky Louie debuted on HBO. That really got him the recognition and it's remarkable how much his career has skyrocketed since then. I've seen him live a couple times and am going next week in Asbury Park for show #3.

F%^kin sweet dude.l downloaded a bunch of comics at random, in 2008 l thinkand listened to em in the car, Louis was the only one that stuck wit me, l loved his voice, and humor, he is brilliant.it was the bank sketch "l too think my funds are grossly insufficient.thanks for calling". I've been following him ever since. Didnt know about lucky louis until 2012 or 13 l thinkbut watched all his stuff dozens of times now
He keeps touring, he's unbelievable, its a new show every year ! We'll have just hours of pure gold to listen to. He's really the best comic ever imo.
Oh what a day. What a lovely day!
