I personally think they are neck & neck. Carlin would get more cred cuz he did it first and influenced everybodyincluding Louis, but i tbink they both ha e the same funny bone.

If Carlin was i the audience watching Louis in his prime i can either imagine him laughing hard or being ticked with how he would perceive Louis as biting his style.
