I thought he was amazing in Ed. I'm not sure if this was his best performance ever, but he was really touching as Ed's "looser" brother.

Arnold Poindexter! Revenge of the Nerds is the best movie. Ok, not best but certainly one of my faves right. Watching my dvd as I type. I was shocked when I found out this is the same dude rom Thirtysomething

Actually Louis (Robert Carradine) built the robot in Revenge of the Nerds. It was in Louis and Gilbert's dorm room. Louis unpacked it at the beginning of the movie. Louis was showing it off at the party, and he had the remote and controlled it in the gym because it was his.
