Apparently he isn't acting as much anymore and more of a stay at home Dad, which sux because we all miss him!

Yeah. He was a good actor. You know, I never realized that he was the guy who played Bernard in the X Files ep called Bernard. His dad was in the ep called Theef. He looked so different in that. I just saw him in the NYPD Blue ep Prostrate Before the Law & I thought that maybe he had a brother cause he looks so different with blonde hair than he did when he was in Northern Exposure.
