As an apparently intelligent woman, I would like to ask her if she really believes that "news" has lost to "entertainment". Or, to paraphrase, that intelligence has lost to idiocy?
And, if this is the case, should it be applauded, as her film "Morning Glory" seems to be suggesting?
Or is there a level of irony at play in the script which perhaps did not come over in the bland acting or direction?
