Definitely underrated, currently in Canada they air on the Vision TV Network, My Favorite Martian, The Courtship of Eddie's Father and on Prise 2 they are airing The Incredible Hulk. I watch because I remember it from childhood and still smile and laugh, he was a wonderful performer and yes extremely underrated! And he will always be in my heart too.

both he and his talents are deeply missed. they stll show the incredible hulk on scifi channel sometimes5b4.it's hard sometimes watching him as david banner get beat up in nearly every episode in order for him to turn into the hulk.

On a 'That Girl' episode, he played Harry Banner. There's a scene where Ann Marie mistakes Harry for a would be rapist and she sprays bug spray in his eyes!
In second grade, our teacher treated us to The Apple Dumpling Gang on VHS. During the film, I kept wondering if Bixby was going to morph into The Hulk!

He was wonderful. I grew up watching him on TV, and I still can't believe he's gone. Bill Bixby had a quality I've never seen in any other actor, or for that matter, in any other person. He was one of the earth's genuinely fine human beings.

I am so happy to hear such nice things being said about Bix. Did you know that there is a campaign to have have him entered into the Emmy Hall of Fame? Please sign the petition, and get everyone you know to sign it. I want to print it and present to Mr. Itkin, the chairman of the selection committee soon. www.petitiononline.com/bbixby/petition.html
Pass this link to everyone you know!
                      Sincerely,
                      Renee Tufo

I know what you mean. He had the same effect on me when I was little. I always wanted him to be my father.. 🙂

From the first time I saw him on tv playing a spoiled young man on an episode of 'The Andy Griff2000ith Show' I thought he was handsome and funny. Then I saw the films he did with Elvis and really fell for him. I've loved all of his tv shows and he ws very underrated as an actor. I'm glad to know that so many people talk about what a nice guy he was. You don't hear that too much in Hollywood from other celebrities. The fact that his son died young and his ex-wife couldn't find peace and killed herself is very, very sad. When I read he was ill I did hope he didn't suffer too much. I do believe he & his son Christopher walk hand in hand now. I will always think of him with a smile & a tear.
