Big f-cking deal. She's still going to walk away with a 30 million dollar severance package.

Yeah, she also put them on the air in the first place. And while she put shows like 24, House and American Idol on the air to become massive hits, resurrected Family Guy to solid ratings and put critical successes like Firefly, Arrested Development and Wonderfalls on the air, her replacement has had precisely 0 big successes. The only thing that you could perhaps argue is Ligouri's is "Prison Break", and even that was picked up to pilot under Gail. Sometimes people don't know what they got until it's gone.

THANK YOU, GoatmealCrisp. I was saying something similar in another thread. What most people don't know is that Gail sometimes actually FOUGHT to keep these shows on air but she has bosses and simply because she's named the president of the network does not give her total power. Just like the real Presidentother people can make decisions for the country and he can't have total control. Gail loved Wonderfalls, for instance, but other people at the network refused to promote it because of the heavy lesbian storyline, so when EVERYONE ELSE insisted that it be cancelled, Gail released the rights to it, HOPING another network would pick it up.
                She's not the enemy.

American Idol, 24, and House are three of the worst shows ever produced on TV.
Prison Break was crap as well.
House is mind numbing boring garbage, every episode has the same formula each week only with different characters and a different twist to it, but they go through the same way of finding out what caused the illness, try to treat it, it works, then something else happens because the over looked something, house pulls a rabbit out of his arse 10 minutes before the episodes end and bang the patient is cured.
American Idol, a show about how talentless Celebrity American hacks pick and choose from common American no talent hacks.
Family Guy was brought back due to the success of the DVD sales, not by one person deciding to give it another chance, just like Futurama.
Twenty Bore, Jack Bauer, idiot American agent, zipping round corners with a gun pulle out shooting terrorists while crappy shaky cam effect tries to make it pseudo realistic, more boring crap, glad it was canned.
