in Jekyll. No offence intended, but her facial expression was painfully limited, and her voice was always awful. Frankly, she doesn't seem like a very good actress

Actually, I came to realize that how great an actress she really is in "Jekyll". I didn't think she was good in the first few episodes, but she really brought it later when confronting Jekyll in the show. She was a strong character who was not afraid of a guy who could toss people around like a baseball.
So different from her character in "Coupling". To me, that's what makes a good actress: When you can hardly recognise characters from one show to the next. -

I agree. Her voice is so awful, her expressions so limited. I kept wondering (sometimes aloud) how this actress landed the part, let alone any others!
Also, she was supposed to have this power over James Nesbitt's character but they had absolutely NO CHEMISTRY!! -

That's what directors are for. If they'd wanted her to play it differently, she would have.
She got the gig on Leverage because of her skill in Jekyll (not Coupling, which is what most assume). It's hard enough to act, acting "weird" is even harder.
