I consider Beck to be the male version of Bjork

-They're both two of the biggest alternative rock icons of the 90's
-They're both known for singing all different types of music
-They're both incredibly quirky
-They're both very critically acclaimed
-"Odelay" is his "Post" (where he sings all different genres of music) and
"Sea Change" is his "Homogenic" (where they both sing about their sad breakups)
Now all Beck needs to do is star in a depressing art movie and wear a crazy outfit to the Oscars.
What do you think? -

well he's in the Southlander movie at least
from what i understand (as of this typing) he's not interested in doing movies (he's had chances at stuff and not done them).
he wore a chessy mustache, sunglasses, hat & suit to some event one year (might have been the grammies tho.)

also he wore this at the vma's one year http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ld3IarI3Stw
i think he's a female version of Kristin Hersh if anybody tho.
but i can also see what you're saying too.

Another thing is that they both go by a single name that starts with "B" and ends with "K".
I'd love to see Beck act. Could you imagine what movies he could've been in? Here are some I imagine him in:
"Urban Legends"
"Requiem For A Dream"
"Pecker"
"Mysterious Skin"
"500 Days Of Summer"
What do you think? What movies could you have imagined him in? -

Musically, I could see it, but I think Beck has a slightly better grasp on reality than Bjork does. She lives on a whole other plane of existence from the rest of us talentless mortals.
In terms of that, I think Bjork is closer to Thom York. That guy always looks like his head is in space.
