No Sara.., no one is still here.., except fans of a truly unique low budget gem that pushed the boundaries of the time and was clearly marketed incorrectly.., due to it coming out after Michael Myers Pt. II. The themes of this film are quite horrific and the attempt is to behold on this one. The camera work matched by Carpenter's score are what help this one be the cult that it is. It's not for everyone, but I always get sucked into this one, despite the Silver Shamrock annoyance.

He was fantastic in it as Challis and who would had loved to seen the franchise become like Tales from the Crypt, Are you Afraid of the Dark or Twilight Zone?

Totally agree, I think most people didn't like it because it didn't follow the rest of the Halloween movies like Nightmare on Elm Street 2 didn't follow the rest of them in its series. I thought it was fine on its own and I have always loved certain parts of it-the family in the control room where the kid meets his end, the beginning graphics with accompanying sounds, the commercials with the jingle, and now that all this time has passed it definitely has a nostalgia for me. I have always liked this movie in spite of its obvious flaws!
