    I think it's an acting choice. He only does it when he's playing whacked-out/angry characters like in Hostage, Texas Chainsaw, some eps of The Black Donnellys. Other than that, he talks normally.
    Am I the messiah? I don't know, I could be, I'm not ruling it out.

        hes from Boston right?? An Irish neighbourhood? so I think its mostly just an accent..
        BUT I've seen him in a few things where he does this thing with his mouth and head when he's angry that makes his voice come out funny I know people that do it, and when you see/hear it its usually a sign to start running!!!
        Maybe its an Irish mannerism He's got a few of them nailed in The Black Donnellys, its half the reason he's a great Tommy 😉

          I'm watching a vid on YouTube of an interview with him for Hostage and it doesnt sound like he has an impediment at all.

            Could be that the character he was playing in that had 1. He didn't have 1 in the White Collar ep Hard Sell that I just watched.
