Wow. huge fan of Mothersbaugh's scores (yeah I know we're hard to find) btu just listening to some Bach's Canatata BWV 0140 and noticed how its completely the basis for his piece "Loquasto International Film Festival"
I saw Life Aquatic as Mothersbaugh's crowning achievement almost especially the Loquasto piece but after hearing the Bach piece I'm kind of like "uhh I wish that piece was more original" either way its a very elegant piece and I still love the track kinda just disappointed. yeah im a huge music fan and appreciate samples and other uses of previously made music so dont flame me.
anyone else notice the bach piece after hearing the score or the other way around?
