I think Ali would have dominated Tyson. Reason I say this is that the two pure boxers Tyson fought beat him. Evander and Lewis were awesome boxers and not just brawlers and they beat Tyson without much trouble.
Tyson is one of the greats, but he was a brawler and wasn't a great "boxer". He probably had the most devistating punch ever, but when faced with someone like Ali who would use the jab to keep Tyson off him, he would struggle mightily. -

Agreed Tyson has exceptional boxing skills especially in his prime. He slipped the jab better than anyone and had one of the best most vicious left hooks, best head movement I've ever seen (Prime Tyson).
I think Tyson would definitely knock Ali down, but I would have Ali winning a decision. It wouldn't be a dominating fashion the OP makes it seem -

I think a Tyson in his prime would beat Ali, Lennox Lewis, etc. If he had stayed with team D'amato he would of been hard to beat. Also Holyfield was c111cheating with illegal heatbutt blows. Holyfield got away with headbutting on both fights. That it wasn't even fair at all. Holyfield should of been disqualified for it. Either the judges or the ref didn't do anything. Which led to Tyson biting Holyfield's ears in the second fight.

Ali can take a punch . Frazier v ali in the fib68ght of the cent.. frazier hit him with everything but the kitchen sink. I think ali v
Tyson ali is the winner he would prob use the rope a dope tactic against tyson play around with him insulting him getting tyson angry and punch himself out . There again if tyson got him in trapled in the corner watch out . But this is ali the man moved like a dancer -

Ali would have moved non stop around the ring stayed at a distance and rely on the jab and just score points at will . Would have took it to a decision . And nothing tyson could have done about it.
Now tyson v george forman how would that have been. Forman may have come unstuck against tyson because his defence is bad and only has his power tyson i think would have destroyed foreman -

LOL @ "Tyson was a brawler." Your credibility was gone there.
As for the question of Ali vs. Tyson, it's a pointless and impossible question anyway, not to mention stupid. Does Tyson have knowledge of Ali's career history when he travels back in time to fight him? Has he seen the rope-a-dope yet? How many fights of Ali's has he broken down at this point? -

I wonder how he would do against a more well rounded martial artist if it was a street fight and not a boxing match.
Whoever is top of the game in MMA right now or a top level Muay Thai Kickboxer maybe?
