Lindsay Lohan: Age 27. Former child actress, rose to fame doing Disney projects in the mid 90s. Now total train wreak. Continually in and out of rehab, violating terms of parole, wild boozing and drugging, shoplifting, car accidents, etc. Briefly became a "lesbian", perhaps for publicity reasons.
Amanda Bynes: Age 27. Former child actress, rose to fame doing Nickelodeon projects in the mid 90s. Now total train wreak. Showing signs of schizophrenia. Started a fire on her driveway, got gasoline on her dog and fire on her pants while doing it. Keeps waxing on about how ugly she thinks she and everyone else is. Placed on psychiatric hold.
Michelle Trachtenberg: Age 27. Former child actress, rose to fame doing Nickelodeon projects in the mid 90s. Perfectly healthy and law abiding, no scandals, career seems to be doin' just fine!

I wouldn't say Hilary Duff was doing OK. She got totes anorexic as soon as she hit her 18th birthday! Not to mention she hasn't gotten many roles since Lizzie McGuire. Basically all her movie roles she's done post Lizzie McGuire have flopped! .. except for The Perfect Man. (and even that was quite some time ago)

the point is Michelle Trachtenberg was in a movie that did good. Also the movies flopping was not my only statement of why Hilary Duff was not doing good Hilary Duff also got totes anorexic since her 18th birthday.

MT isnt even much of a movie actress; Lilo was.
And people like Michelle are the vast majority, people like Lilo or that Brynes are rare exceptions.
In fact how Lilo managed to fall from such a high place is nothing short astonishing.

This C list television and movie actress who is currently on a middling success on a network is not winning friends among the cast. She is currently dating a married producer on the show which she seems to feel gives her carte blanche to be the biggest b**tch she can to the female cast. As for the men, she flirts with them all non-stop and got one of her C+/B- list actor co-star into a huge fight with his B list movie girlfriend. The reason? Our troublemaker came into his trailer holding a towel and asked him if he could unscrew a jar of pickles. I kid you not. Pickles. Just at that moment, his girlfriend decided to pay him a visit. Absolutely no one likes her, except the boss. So, she stays.

Cute theory, but that site is up front about being conjecture based, and this story is pretty ridiculous (pickles!). And furthermore, Trachtenberg was documented to be good friends with most of the cast, which pretty much rules her out as the guilty party in this hypothetical.

Didn't say that, anyway, Jessica Szohr and Leighton Meester are two 'female cast members' that were friendly beyond PR reasons with Trachtenberg. Meester's music career has been supported by Trachtenberg, and they've all talked on twitter long after that show was cancelled.
But I'm sure this silly story is 100% trueor it might have been about someone else.
