It is sad that Anthony died so young, but I can't get over how much
"The English Patient" sucked.It was so bad I had to convince my date that is would not count as our first date movie. That honor eventually went to "Scream".
The English Patient was definitely one of the worst movies to ever win the Oscar, extremely boring, over-rated, and just plain bad.
Right behind "Shakespeare in Love" and "Crash" for worst movies to get the Oscar.

That is your opinion. I quite liked it.
I certainly hope you liked some of his other movies, though.
