Sad news, screenwriter, producer, and director Anthony Minghella has passed away at the age of 53. He was best know for his screenplay and directing of "The Talented of Mr. Ripley" and many others. He will be missed. Rest in Peace Anthony, (Sniff).

I am deeply sad about Anthony Minghella's death. Such a brilliant artist!
He had such a wonderful directing, writing and of course directing. I always found his work very intriguing, thoughtful, full of detail and in my humble opinion I always found his films were like little studies on human behaviour.
Fascinating.
The English Patient is, if not; my all time favourite film. I fell In love with his work since I first watched Truly, Madly, Deeply. Talented Mr. Ripley was fantastic. Cold Mountain had beautiful performances and Breaking And Entering, even tho it was not critically acclaimed, I thought it was very good.
A GREAT ARTIST will be missed.
I will miss you Anthony.
My condolences to his family and friends.
