Is it just me, or does it seem that movies he is in kinda flop? His acting seems 1 dimensional

He is in a lot of movies that flop, that is true, I guess. But also, he is usually the best thing that happens in those movies! Death at A Funeral. Sex Drive. Even Anchorman 2. And Prince Edward from Enchanted is not 1 dimensional AT ALL.
I'm troubled. I need to take a moment.
