I always wonder about these women who marry these fascist politicians or would-be politicians.
They must know what their husband/boyfriend stands for, and they must presumably be okay with their heinous views.
Anyway, Marla is a very beautiful, effervescent woman, but since she married Trump I suspect she's either not very bright or otherwise shares/tolerates her ex-husband's hateful, bigoted political views. -

This is a very bigoted statement. Do you even know what a fascist is. You would be shot for saying that if this country was fascist. I believe Trump is running in a Democratic country going through the process of this great country. Your comment is typical of a media hyped bias statement that shows your intelligence level is one who belueves everything the media hype says without using what the Scarecrow wanted, a brain. I think when Marla knew Trump he claimed to be a registered Democrat.
Almost like a joke Bette Davies used to have. I have known Ronald Reagan so long, I remember when he used to be a Democrat.

By marrying 'HIM' all these years ago (when it was already well documented in local NYC press) that 'HE' was a married, vain, attention-seeking a$$, she cannot possibly deny that she knew exactly what he was.and still is.
Power (or the perception that someone has power, even if it's all smoke 'n mirrors) is a great aphrodisiac to DUMBER THAN DUMB women. It's clear that all the obvious signals of bigotry, homophobia and hideous vanity are easy to 'overlook' if you're brainless and want to marry money.
Marla's acting career is next to non-existent.
She doesn't have to EARN when she has an ex-spouse who pays her to keep her mouth TIGHTLY sealed! -

If you think Marla Maples knew then, or knows now, anything about global politics you're not very smart. And her idiot husband might know less than her. -

Then she's a facilitator.
To give her some credit, despite all the hippy dippy stuff and her claims to be 'mostly vegan' (what crock - speaking as a vegan, you're either one of you're not - these 'mostly veganbut I eat the odd steak at weekends' people are a disgrace), at least I don't ever recall her saying she's a Democrat, like a lot of super-rich and pampered celebs.
Even if she was a Democrat (which would be such a betrayal of her daughter's father), she still has to take some responsibility for facilitating her right-wing husband's ambitions.
After all, if the whole 'behind every great man is a great woman' theory stands, then it's only fair that we should say that behind every awful man lies an awful woman (see Macbeth).
