His plastic surgeries and adjustments are off-putting and unnecessary!

I'm not familiar with the 90s heartthrob Joey Lawrence. I first discovered Joey a few years ago through TV, by watching '
Melissa & Joey
'. I love the show and I love his character, and although I consider him attractive, I always thought he was quite odd looking, with his hair constantly changing shape and color, and his skin and face all tight and shiny and tanned. I also noticed he barely had any body hair - in
Melissa & Joey
, when he's working out, he doesn't have any leg hair, arm hair or chest hair (only his armpits are a tiny bit hairy). As the seasons of the show advance, he looks weirder and weirder for a man. I had to google him to convince myself that he got plastic surgeries, for a part of me didn't want to believe that he'd altered himself that much. I hope he's not trying to pull off a
Mickey Rourke
and be unrecognizably disfigured as he grows old. Unlike Mickey, who claimed to had needed those surgeries to fix boxing injuries, Joey Lawrence did not need a single plastic surgery in my opinion, not even hair transplant. His recent look - his nose job, the Botox in his forehead, the sunbed tan, the filled in eyebrows, and whatever he is doing to his hair these days - is all very off-putting to me to see him in other TV shows and movies because I can't help starring at his face and judging his decisions instead of concentrating on the plot. I cringed at his appearance all the way throughout the last season of '
Melissa & Joey
'.
Did anyone else feel the same?
