    from her trivia section:
"Her first TV commercial was for Semicid contraceptive. Her agent (who she still uses as a result of this) worked an "embarrassment clause" into her contract for the commercial, which has become standard for her ever since."
    What is an embarrassment clause?

What is embarrassing about the product? Does it come in a weird looking box?

I don't think that would be embarrassing.

would u like to be the face of a spermicide cream? or a hemmeriod creme advertisement? For most people it is pretty embarrassing to have your face recognized as the person who did the spermicide ad o2000r hemmeriod ad. lol

It's an acting job, and they get paid, I've seen actors in films that are far more embarrassing than a commercial that will air and eventually stop airing when the company comes out with a new product or re-brands the product.
When she did the commercial the internet didn't keep or follow these things. A lot of actors who did or do daytime television often do commercials. The actor Jennifer Roszell who was re-cast as her character on "The Guiding Light" is always in commercials, and she's considered a commercial actor, and a regular actor since she still appears on television and films. She was just on "Law & Order: SVU" last year. I think to the actor it's a way to pay their bills, and there is nothing to be embarrassed about being in a commercial.
Like I stated, I've seen films that some actors most likely wished they had never made, but they were also paid for being in a bad film.
