I am wondering how she felt about this title considering how notoriously anti-gay Jamaicans are as a culture.

Good question..
I am sure Grace was quite at ease with being dubbed THE QUEEN OF GAY DISCO. The majority of her fan base is and always will be gay men and she always seems to have embraced this. I can`t imagine Grace worying too much about the Jamaican stance on homosexuality. Grace has always been at the cutting edge of breaking down borders between cultures. -

Wellfasten your seat belts, because this month, Miss Jones is releasing her autobiography I'LL NEVER WRITE MY MEMOIRS which contains whole chapters about her being raised within an extremely religious, nearly abusive environment in 1950's Jamaica. It's a fabulous book, a great story. I won't spoil it for you. Seek it out.
