I'm watching the final episode and I noticed that Weaver was walking without a limp or a crutch.
Anyone know if something happened during a previous show where she fixed it?

yes she had a hip replacement in i think season 12

Laura Innes had been faking the limp for so many years that it was starting to give her real back pain so they wrote it into the storyline that Weaver had surgery to correct the limp.
