I am agree with you, it's not for the money but she did it for her child because when you are 6 years old, you must enter into the scientology and scientology is a mad religion but wait: What mother would let sink her daughter in a mad religion as scientology??

Exactly. She also saw what Tom had done to Nicole Kidman. He blindsided HER with a divorce, then completely alienated her from Isabella and Connor, brainwashing them into believing she is an SP (suppressive person) to eliminate her from their lives altogether. Once the veil had lifted, Katie would have seen what was really going on. The constant presence of David Miscavige, always being watched by Scientology goons and I'll bet she heard all about the so called "audition" Tom's minions had created after the Tom and Nicole divorce, when other actresses would be brought in as a replacement girlfriend/wife. She knew she had to take her daughter and get out.
