Abusive Former Boyfriend?

"Revealed in an interview with a LA radio station that a former boyfriend, who was an actor and whom she dated almost 10 years prior, physically abused her."
Didn't she date Matthew Lawrence and Rider Strong? Or am I mistaken here?
Anybody else have any guesses? -

She actually dated Ben Savage and Matthew Lawrence her co-workers from boy meets world. She also dated a rapper named Michael Barber and Lance Bass from Nsync before he came out the closet. Havent heard about any abuse by them to her

Don't make excuses for people, abuse is about power, people that don't do drugs abuse people, either physically or verbally. Don't make it out to be a minor thing by saying "but he did hard drugs at the time so I don't think he meant to do that".

I'm not making excuses for him. I don't even know him. I'm just going by the facts. I've known people who've done hard drugs and acted completely different from when they were sober. Most couldn't even remember what they did until they saw it for themselves on camera.

And I'm very astonished Danielle would be a girlfriend to such a person she appears to be very conservative, doesnt she ?

Not in most of the pictures i've seen of her. Likes to show off the boobies, that's for sure. And the streaked cornrow look she used to sport and the DUI don't exactly scream GOP. lol and now she's on the cover of Maxim. Either she's not that conservative or she's attempting a come back.
This will be the high point of my day; it's all downhill from here. -

Actually she never dated Ben Savage. I saw her on Tyra Banks one time doing an interview and she said her and Ben went on a date like early on in the series and that was it. They never actually datedthey only saw each other as friends.

Matthew and Danielle did date for awhile but I don't think he was the abusive boyfriend she's talking about; I don't think I would still have pics on my IMDB page if Matthew was the one who abused her, those pics of them together woub68ld be deleted or taken down. It could be Devon - but I don't get that vibe about him; he actually seems like a nice guy watching interviews w/him. I guess we never know what goes behind closed doors. I'm sorry she went thru that kind of hell nobody should have to put up w/that.

Yes, she's dated Michael Barber, Devon Sawa, Matthew Lawrence, and Lance Bass. Only went out on one date with Ben, and to a dance as friends, I think.
As someone said, it's been heavily implied that it was Devon Sawa, but there is no reliable source confirming it. I actually look at her Twitter every now and then, and saw that she's following him and they've interacted on there several times. If it was him, they obviously don't have a problem with one another now.
Now she's engaged to someone who is not an actor, and has been with him for a few years. Don't remember his name or really know anything about him. She just mentions him now and then on Twitter. -

Agreed with many of the prior posters. There were many interviews and statements that implied Devon Sawa. And it wasn't too long after they broke up that she stated she had an abusive ex boyfriend.
I guess I'll cut my losses, and turn my tricks at the magic show..
