Why isn't she an A-lister?

She seems to only have small roles, and on TV-shows and Lifetime type stuff. Why isn't she more of a theater movie A-lister?

She's working steadily in one of the toughest professions.
It's such a small number of people that make it to the "a-list". It's like making it into the NBA. Not everyone can play on the same floor with LeBron James.
She's a very good actress and just because she's not going to be nominated for an Oscar doesn't mean she's not highly successful.
